Have you had a need to use the phlebotomy service within the borough recently? If so, Bromley CCG is interested in hearing your opinion of the service and what they can do to improve it.
In recent years, the waiting times for those requiring blood tests have not increased dramatically, but there are still improvements that could be made. Since 2011, there has been a 100 per cent increase in the number of GP practices that can take blood. Additionally, local residents can also attend walk-in clinics that will take blood.
However, Bromley CCG knows that there is still more they can do to improve the service. In order to gain an understanding of how residents feel about the service, they have launched an online survey. It is open to anyone who is registered at a GP practice in Bromley, and it asks about their experience of using the service after their GP has requested a test.
If you would like to complete the survey, it can be accessed online here.
Bromley CCG is also holding a focus group to gather further views from residents. This will take place from 6:00pm to 7:00pm on Tuesday 20th October. The group will be held at the Beckenham Beacon in the Harry Lyne Room. Those who wish to attend should email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Have you used the blood service in Bromley in recent months? Did you have to wait a long time for blood to be taken? In what ways could the service be improved?
