The Fun Fest is a market and event geared toward families that will take place on the evening of Friday 14th August. The event is being organised by a number of local organisations to help regenerate and showcase the Clock House area of Beckenham.
There will be a range of stalls open as part of the event, as well as activities running between 4:00pm and 9:00pm. Fun Fest will be located outside the Beckenham Spa on Beckenham Road.
Visitors can browse the arts and crafts stalls, enjoy some live musical entertainment, and participate in events such as line dancing. There will be something for everyone, including face painting and craft activities for the children. The local Belleberry Deli will provide a delicious BBQ, and a licensed bar will be open.
Venue 28, which reopened earlier this year following an extensive refurbishment, is right next door to Beckenham Spa. The building will be open during Fun Fest with a café serving food and drinks. They will showcase the options they have available for weddings and also hold a mini art exhibition.
The facilities at Venue 28 cater for a wide range of community needs. The building hosts a number of regular classes for adults and children and provides space for corporate events, weddings, and community-based productions. For further information, visit the Venue 28 website.
Have you visited Venue 28 since it reopened? How do you think the facilities will benefit the local community?
