Two local kebab houses have been nominated for awards in a prestigious national ceremony, and the public can now have their say on which takeaways and restaurants will walk away with the titles.
The annual British Kebab Awards honours some of the best restaurants and takeaways in the UK, and the nominations for the 2016 awards have now been released. In the Bromley area, two kebab houses are up for an award; winning would be a great recognition for the hard work and dedication of the owners and managers.
The two eateries are Milano Kebab, which is situated on Downham Way in Bromley and is nominated in the Just Eat Best Delivery category, and Petts Wood Kebab House on Chatsworth Parade, which is up for the Best London Takeaway award.
The awards have an impressive judging panel consisting of food industry experts and local business professionals who will decide which kebab house will win in each of the 16 categories. The panel includes MPs Keith Vaz, Nadhim Zahawi and Andy Love; kebab expert Osman Cinik; restaurant owner Onder Sahan; and businessman Ali Matur.
The winners will be announced on 23rd March in a ceremony at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge Hotel in London.
The public can vote for their favourite in each of the categories until 10th March through the British Kebab Awards website.
Do you think these two kebab houses are the best in Bromley? Do you have a different favourite that you would have liked to see nominated?
