A White Christmas Is Coming To East Croydon

Platform Goes Polar will bring plenty of festive fun when Platform Ruskin Square is transformed into a winter wonderland this month. There will be fun and activities for all the family alongside delicious street food and the opportunity to win some extra Christmas shopping money.

Platform Ruskin Square is situated next door to East Croydon Station. Every Thursday between now and December 17th, the open-air space will be filled with seasonal fun for the Platform Goes Polar event.

The venue will be open from 11:00am to 3:00pm. Visitors can enjoy market stalls selling tasty Christmas street food and a variety of entertainment each week. You’ll get the chance to meet Santa’s reindeer or the giant penguins, see the amazing Jack Frost Jugglers and the silent Ice Queens. You’ll also have the opportunity to create your own souvenir by stepping into the giant snow globe to have a picture taken. Throughout the event, the Platform polar elves will distribute gold chocolate coins.

As part of the festive spectacular, two of the visitors each Thursday will take home a £100 shopping voucher in a free competition. The voucher can be redeemed at shops in the Whitgift Shopping Centre, so you can pick up some extra gifts or treat yourself. You can also enter through the Platform Ruskin Square website.

For further information on the Platform Goes Polar event or other special activities, you can visit the Platform Ruskin Square website or follow them on Twitter.
