Summer Service To Remember Loved Ones

Beckenham Crematorium is inviting the community to its Summer Memorial Service.

Families who have been supported by the crematorium, as well as the local community are invited to Beckenham Crematorium’s Summer Memorial Service on Friday 8 July at 14:00.

Following the service, which will last for about an hour, guests will have the opportunity to enjoy some complimentary refreshments. The team at the crematorium will also be on-hand to help answer any questions and offer support.

The crematorium will also be raising money for local charity Melvin Hall foodbank, supporting those who are struggling financially. As well as running the foodbank volunteers at Melvin Hall offer a hot meal every Monday to residents who may be elderly, lonely, or vulnerable.

Business Leader at Beckenham Crematorium, Nina Martin-Richmond said: “We wanted to give the local community somewhere to be able to come together and remember a family member or friend. After the service, we will be running a tombola to help raise some vital funds for Melvin Hall. We would also welcome any donations of food or toiletries to the foodbank.

“We are hoping lots of people will join us for our service to honour and remember loved ones we have lost.”
