If you’re into music or want to find a bargain LP, you can spend time browsing through the stalls at the next Orpington Record and CD collector fair. These events offer a treasure trove of delights for fans of vinyl, and there’s something for everyone on sale.
The fairs take place on the first Sunday of each month at Crofton Halls on Crofton Road in Orpington. This is handily situated next door to the train station. They run from 10:00am until 4:00pm, and the next fair will be on September 6th. Admission costs £1. Free parking and refreshments will be available.
These events are not just for the avid collector who has money to spend on a rare item. There is also the opportunity to pick up a bargain or buy an album from your past. Some of the dealers offer specialist material, such as hard-to-find jazz or soul editions. You’ll find a wide range of music on display, including vinyl records (from LPs and 7” editions to coloured and picture discs), as well as CDs and other musical memorabilia.
If you’ve got any CDs or vinyl you want to sell, bring them with you and ask for Sandy or Mark on the day. You can also email details to firstname.lastname@example.org, go to www.bionicrecords.co.uk, or call 07742 953200 or 07874 915453.
Are you a fan of music, either from the past or the present day? What record would you love to find at this fair?
