Over 400 people signed a petition in under 24 hours, leading the Beckenham facility to backtrack on the decision. Parents, like Victoria Woodcock, expressed their anger over repeated cancellations and refusal of refunds. Following public backlash, the centre apologized, claiming the issue was due to “miscommunication.”
