Description ->
This year’s St George’s Arts Festival will take place from 20th to 28th June. The 23rd annual festival includes a variety of interesting events throughout the week related to the arts world.
All of the events will be held at St George’s Parish Church. The programme features a range of acts by soloists, groups, singers, and musicians. Acts scheduled to perform include the New Generation Big band, which is part of the Bromley Youth Music Trust; Show of Hands with Miranda Sykes; the Pasadena Roof Orchestra; St George’s Chamber Orchestra; and the Metier Ensemble.
The festival will also feature recitals from tenor John Upperton and pianist Siobhain O’Higgins. Other events taking place include an evening with Jimmy Greaves, variety act Mickie Driver, and a songwriters’ workshop from Benny Gallagher.
How to buy tickets
Tickets for all of the events can be purchased online here. Alternatively, you can buy tickets in person by visiting St George’s Parish Office on the High Street in Beckenham (Monday to Friday from 9.30am to 3pm) or The Beckenham Bookshop (Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm). Tickets will also be available to buy from the venue on the day of the event, subject to availability.
Standard ticket prices start at £5, and there are concessions available for those under 25 years of age and members of the Friends of the Arts at St George’s. Further information on the festival can be found here.
