The Penge Forum Annual General Meeting will take place next Wednesday, and Bromley Council’s Deputy Leader will be the guest speaker. This is a public meeting and everyone from the local area, including those living in Beckenham, is invited to attend.

This is your opportunity to quiz Cllr Colin Smith on any area of the council’s work. In addition to holding the position of Deputy Leader within Bromley Council, Cllr Smith is also the Portfolio Holder for Environment. This gives him specific responsibilities in terms of roads, parking and traffic; recycling and refuse collection; fly tipping; and street cleaning. If you have a query about any of these topics, he will be able to address them. He is also expected to address other areas of the council’s business.

The Penge Forum AGM will be held on Wednesday 28^th October. It will take place in the Meeting Room at Penge Congregational Church. This is located on the High Street and opposite the Kentwood Centre. Residents are invited to attend from 7pm for a 7:30pm start.

In addition to hearing from and questioning the council’s Deputy Leader, the AGM is also an opportunity for you to socialise with other local residents. Complimentary light refreshments, wine and soft drinks will be served.
