Market on the Green is held on Beckenham Green, and the next one takes place on Saturday 19^th September from 10:00am to 4:00pm. They run three to four times throughout the year and offer local businesses and arts companies the chance to showcase their products or performers to residents.

In September, the market will have more than 50 stalls where you can browse through local produce, including hand-painted cards, ladies’ clothing and scarfs, luxurious soaps, garden ornaments, and vintage-style jewellery. There will also be some fantastic food and drink stalls serving everything from jerk chicken and wood-fired pizza to fruit-flavoured spirits and artisan breads.

Visitors will be able to enjoy some exciting live entertainment from local performers, such as Churchfield’s Primary School Choir and a Western Trick Riding Show. Throughout the day, you can participate in pony rides, a vintage funfair, face painting, and sand art.

Market on the Green really does offer something for people of all ages. It makes a great family day out, and now is the perfect time to start stocking up on all those Christmas gifts.
