Langley Park Academies is considering opening a new free primary school in Beckenham. As a legal requirement of the proposal, a formal consultation process will run until Friday 29th January 2016.
The academy group, which already runs Langley Park School for Girls and Langley Park School for Boys, will also hold a public meeting to share information about the plans at Langley Park School for Girls on Wednesday 20th January 2016 at 7pm.
At the meeting, attendees will be able to talk to Headteacher Designate Louise Turner and members of the proposal group, including Langley Park Primary School Project Lead and Langley Park School for Girls Headteacher Dr Anne Hudson.
Attendees will also have the opportunity lo hear about the progress that has been made to date and will be invited to share their views as part of the consultation.
The plans for Langley Park Primary School entail opening a two-form entry school from September 2016. The school will initially have 60 reception class children and then take on more each year, eventually accommodating 420 children.
