Free Early Education (FEE) is provided for eligible two-, three- and four-year-olds throughout Bromley. It can be offered by childcare providers, including childminders, nurseries and preschools that have met the required registration standards and have attended the relevant information sessions. If you are an existing or prospective childcare provider and you want to understand more about how the system works locally, Bromley Council is running a free information and advice session next month.
The next FEE information session will take place on Wednesday 27th January between 7:00pm and 8:30pm. It will be held in Bromley Central Library on the High Street and is open to all existing and prospective childcare settings that want to find out more about the FEE system. This includes new childminders and those who want to start providing FEE as well as preschools and nurseries that have new staff members who need an explanation of the funding system. The sessions will also be beneficial to those who currently offer FEE but want to keep their knowledge up to date.
The next FEE information session after January’s date will be 10th March.
If you want to find out further information about the FEE system in Bromley, including timetables for funding claims, statutory guidance and contracts, or to book a place on one of the information sessions, you can visit the FEE section on the Bromley Council website.
