The next Beckenham Business Association (BBA) meeting will provide advice for London-based businesses and entrepreneurs regarding the range of support packages that are available. The event will take place from 6:15pm to 8:30pm next Wednesday, 23rd September, at Deli Nene on Beckenham High Street.
The guest speaker at this month’s event will be Yuliana Topazly, who is a business coach. As the co-director and co-founder of My Outspace Business Centre, a social enterprise located in Croydon, Yuliana has helped more than 120 businesses get started in the last two years. She will provide advice to attendees on the types of help that businesses can access through government schemes, from non-financial help such as subsidised training to financial support such as low-interest loans.
After the talk, the businesses in attendance will have a chance to network with one another.
BBA members and those who haven’t attended an event before get free entry. Tickets cost £10 for non-members who have been to a BBA event in the past. Tickets can be purchased at the door, but please book your place beforehand so that the organisers can provide sufficient catering.
Further details on the event and booking information can be found on the BBA website.
The last BBA meeting in 2015 will take place on Tuesday 1st December, and this meeting will also be their Christmas party evening.
What type of support do you think should be available to local businesses? How do you think the BBA and other organisations can better support those setting up businesses in the area?
