Last summer saw 10,000 people and more than 70 traders pack into South Croydon’s Restaurant Quarter for one of London’s biggest food events - South End Food Festival.
It will return in 2016, renamed Croydon Food Festival to emphasise its importance to the whole borough.
Croydon’s biggest food festival pairs plenty of opportunities to sample delicious food with live entertainment, as well as providing a range of sponsorship options for local businesses.
It is set to get even bigger this year, which is great news for local businesses looking to take part, as those involved in last year reported high levels of trade, with some selling out of stock.
This year’s festival will see a variety of international food on offer for visitors from across the borough and further afield to try, refreshing summer cocktails and insightful cookery demonstrations.
Croydon Food Festival is organised by the South Croydon Business Association, with support from residential property development company Barratt Homes, local Italian restaurant Bagatti’s, affordable fine dining chain Malcolm John Restaurants, London Borough of Croydon, Croydon Partnership, property developer Quantum, waste management company Veolia Environmental Services and supermarket Lidl.
