Harris Girls’ Academy Bromley has had plenty to celebrate over the past two months. This includes achieving excellent results in A Level and GCSE exams this summer and opening their new canteen facilities. With a new name to top things off, the Academy is looking forward to a bright future. If you have a daughter who is currently in year 6, the Academy is holding an open evening next week for their 2016 admissions.
The Harris Girls’ Academy Bromley open evening takes place between 5:00pm and 7:30pm on Tuesday 29th September at the site on Lennard Road in Beckenham. This will be an opportunity for prospective parents and students to take a tour of the school, see the new facilities and the plans they have for further improvements over the coming 18 months, and meet with Principal David Astin.
The school has recently changed its name, and the developments in the canteen are just the start of an ambitious £14 million investment in the facilities. More work will take place during the remainder of this year and throughout 2016. This will ensure that the amenities available to students and staff complement the excellent teaching facilities.
If you would like further information on the school and the open evening, you can visit the Harris Girls’ Academy Bromley website.
