Market on the Green is back and with lots of Stardust! We’ve teamed up with local David Bowie enthusiast and expert Kat Webb who runs the ‘In Ziggy’s Footsteps, the Walking Tour’ of Bowie’s Beckenham. Together we won a Bromley Council Cultural Grant to bring you a fabulous family fun Day celebrating the 50th anniversary of Ziggy Stardust whch David created as his famous alter-ego when living in Beckenham.

Get into the vibe

The family funday will have a 1970s and 1980s vibe, why not coming in style of those iconic decades. Prizes given to the best dressed.

Entertainment

Funfair, free hula hoop workshop, garden games, free kids craft, spoken word tent, face painting, schools art exhibition.

Live performances

We are still firming up the running order, but you won’t be disappointed, we have local schools performing and a David Bowie Tribute act.

How to trade or take part?

Stall pitches are available to local produce suppliers, craft groups and artisans to promote and sell their wares and/or to provide interactive ‘have-a-go’ workshops/activities. Stallholders must provide their own gazebos/tables and have public liability insurance. Entertainment slots are available for local acts (bands, choirs, entertainers, dance troupes, theatre groups etc) to perform and promote their organisation. All enquiries by email to localmarket@coperscope.org.uk
