Ambulances were called to the crash at Sellinge Close off Copers Cope road Beckenham this week.
The driver has been taken to hospital for head and pelvic injuries after his car crashed into a building in Beckenham.
A neighbour, Vicki Sims was at home when the car hit her neighbours house.
She said:"As soon as it happened I thought the car was coming in my flat.
"There was a huge bang and the walls shook, I quickly ran out of my flat in to my neighbours flat.
"I was in total shock, I just thought that was it, I just thought I've got to get out.
"I didn't know where the vehicle was, I thought it was a lorry and I was dreading looking out of my window."
Another neighbour Chris Cook from Bethersden Close, said: "I heard the sound of the car speeding and then just a large bang.
"Cars speed up this road all the time but the council aren't interested.
"This was something else though it was like listening to cars going past on the motorway when you're in the service station."
We currently don't have an update on the wellbeing of the driver.
