Lovers of jazz music will be pleased to hear that a regular jazz evening is coming to Bromley this month.
Jazz Nights will take place on the third Sunday of each month from 07:00pm to 10:30pm at the Bromley Court Hotel. The first evening will be on February 21st when guests will have the opportunity to see performances from some of the best jazz musicians in the capital, alongside guests from across the globe and an open mic slot.
The evening will be arranged by veteran jazz musician Dave Silk who has created a range of performances that will attract both jazz enthusiasts and those who are new to the genre. The tracks will be an eclectic combination of show tunes and easy-listening songs, with a few surprises thrown in.
In addition to enjoying the sensational acts, guests will be able to sit down to a New Orleans-themed supper. Dishes will feature local delights, such as grilled Cajun salmon and Creole calamari.
The Bromley Court Hotel is no stranger to top musical talent. Throughout the 1960s, it was home to the Bromley Jazz Club and performers included David Bowie, the Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, Cream and Manfred Mann.
The jazz nights are free and the cost for the New Orleans meal is £20 for three courses, £15 for two courses, and £10 for one course.
