Mums in the borough of Bromley are being invited to two sessions next month that can develop their business and careers skills. The sessions will be run by Successful Mums, who provides taster sessions, one-day workshops, and one-on-one coaching for those who want to find work or start a business.
The Business Start-up Taster Session will be held on Tuesday 2nd February from 10am to 1pm. It is free to attend and will support women who want to start a business or grow their current company.
The session will cover areas such as business ideas, how parenting skills can be transferred to businesses, and marketing. There will also be networking opportunities and the chance to gain some valuable one-on-one support.
Finding a new job
On Wednesday 3rd February, a Find a Job You Love Taster Session will be held from 10am to 1pm. This event will offer advice to those who want to go back to work, find flexible employment, or look for a new career.
The free session will cover topics including how to find your strengths, the key to writing a successful CV, and how to find part-time positions.
Both of the sessions will be held in Committee Room 6 in the Civic Centre. You can book tickets for the sessions through the Eventbrite website.
The majority of those who attend Successful Mums sessions are mothers, but everyone is welcome to attend.
How do you feel women are supported within the Bromley business community?
