Beckenham Car Crime On The Rise, But Burglaries Down

Highlights from the Copers Cope Safer Neighbourhood Team newsletter show that in the month of October compared to September there has been a drop in residential and non-residential burglaries.

Whilst this is great news, what's not such great news is that car crime has seen an increase from Septembers figures and the main targets are tools being taken form work vehicles. In terms of Shop lifting, the High Street has been going well but one store in particular is being targeted by shop lifters.

Copers Cope Safer Neighbourhood Team are always looking for residents to join their Neighbourhood Watch and also for people to act as co-ordinators in their local area. If you are interested in helping to make Beckenham a safer place then please contact them on Telephone 0208 721 2772 Email:
