Beckenham residents are being invited to this year’s Beckenham Town Centre Team Annual General Meeting. This will be an opportunity for everyone to learn more about what has been happening in the area and see the plans for the future of Beckenham.
The AGM will take place on Tuesday 30th June from 7:15pm to 9pm. It will be held in the Harry Lyne Room in the Beckenham Beacon on Croydon Road.
This year’s guest speakers will be Angus Culverwell, who is in charge of road safety at Bromley Council, and Sgt Mark Shrubsole of the Beckenham Police and the Safer Neighbourhood Panel.
At the AGM Beckenham, residents will have the opportunity to discuss a wide range of topics that impact on their daily lives. Some of the areas that are open for debate include road safety, anti-social behaviour, and policing in general across the area.
Residents will also be able to hear about the work of the Beckenham Town Centre Team and the Beckenham Business Association to achieve the Purple Flag Award for the town. Attendees will have the chance to learn about improvements to public facilities and the role of the Town Team.
All local residents are welcome to attend the AGM. This is your time to have your say on how the local area is managed and the changes that are implemented.
What do you feel are some of the major issues affecting Beckenham? What would you like to see the Town Centre Team do to improve the area?
