Beckenham 96 Year Old Targeted Twice In Two Weeks

96-year-old Maude Herring, who lives in Beckenham was called by someone suspicious before someone arrived at her home to ask for her bank card.

The scammer took the cards only to with draw £1000 only to run off with it.

Anne Marie Lloyd, Ms Herrings daughter said ““ can’t get over the fact that someone would see an elderly person and just rob them. I know people are desperate, and maybe I am being naïve, but it is depressing.”

Then a week later Ms Herring had her purse pouch snatched near the Beckenham Sainsbury’s. A picture of her late son, daughter and husband were taken.
