Bromley Council is running a special advice session for parents in the area whose children have special educational needs or disabilities. The drop-in event will provide them with information about the support and help that is available in the Bromley area.
The Bromley MyLife information event will take place on Monday 23rd November between 12:00pm and 2:00pm. It will be held on the first floor of Bromley Central Library. There is no need to book in advance; parents can simply drop in at any point during the two-hour session.
The event will give parents and other carers an opportunity to discover “the local offer”. This consists of the services that are available for pre-schoolers all the way through to young adults who have a disability or special educational needs.
During the session, parents will be able to access the Bromley MyLife website. The local offer section on the site has details of services in the area that are provided by the private, public and voluntary sectors. One of the most difficult parts of caring for a child with a disability or special educational needs is finding out about services that are available and being able to access them.
If you require further details on the information session, you can email email@example.com or visit the Bromley MyLife website by clicking here.
