Italy is a destination that’s great to visit no matter what the season. Here, you will be able to experience all that the Mediterranean region has to offer with friends, family or your significant other. Pisa is a great location to consider because it will offer you new scenery and a fresh atmosphere without you having to spend too much time airborne.

Once you make it to Pisa, you will have a great deal of attractions to visit. Of course, it’s crucial to make your way to the Leaning Tower of Pisa, or La Torre di Pisa as the locals call it. This gem of a monument is the city’s greatest tourist attraction and surely you’ll be able to have a great time taking silly pictures here with your travel companions.

The Piazza del Cavalier, the historic and beautiful Duomo, the Botanical Garden, the Baptistery and the Camposanto cemetery are all great sites to see as well. And of course, while you’re bouncing between attractions, be sure to indulge at the many restaurants within the city, all of which offer delectable local delicacies.

Another great thing about Pisa is how close it is to the sea. You’ll easily be able to get out of the city centre and relax on the nearby sandy beaches.

Whether you’re hoping to spend a good deal of time abroad, or just looking for a weekend away, you’ll have plenty of things to keep you happy and amused in wonderful Pisa.
