This Victorian building, central to Beckenham, was built in 1883 by George Vigers, this grand building hosts many of the general meetings, classes, clubs and society's meetings. Its location and facilities include a purpose built licensed bar making it an ideal venue for wedding receptions, parties (including 18th birthdays)and christenings.
Beckenham Public Hall features three rooms for hire:
The main hall has a large stage with hall lighting and is ideal for plays and orchestral concerts as well as offering facilities for private functions.
The purpose built licensed bar area is fully stocked with beers, spirits, wines and soft drinks at competitive prices whilst the spacious kitchen allows you to provide your own catering.
The first floor rooms are particularly suitable for social functions such as weddings. If you have a smaller venue in mind we can offer you a meeting room on the ground floor with a kitchenette for serving light refreshments (also available for children`s parties).
Beckenham Public Hall is suitable for people with disabilities and has appropriate access.
Afternoon Tea Dances These social tea dances are held weekly on Mondays from 2.30pm to 4.30pm. Admission charge is £4.00 payable on the door (includes tea and cake).
