The Society holds regular friendly meetings and all aspects of stamp collecting are catered for. In addition to displays of stamps or postal history either by members or visiting speakers, we also hold auctions and competitions.

Tables are provided free of charge at meetings to allow members to buy and sell material.

There is an active Club Book circuit in which members can buy or sell material at advantageous prices.

Provision at nominal cost, is made for members to circulate "Wants Lists" and "Lists of Items for Sale".

We also have a catalogue library to which members have access at every meeting, and volumes can be borrowed for a small fee between meetings for use at home.

To further assist members a Question Answering facility is provided.

A raffle is held at most meetings, to help augment club funds.

Visitors are welcome to attend one or two meetings without obligation, though if you come a third time, we will assume you like us and ask you to become a full member.

Membership is £7.50. for a whole year, 50p for juniors (under 18yrs).

Full details of the programme through to August 2010 are now available.

The Society has its own PA system to enable visiting speakers to be heard more clearly by members with hearing impairments.

The Society can provide advice and assistance to members of the public who have inherited stamps and collections and wish to know more about them, how to dispose of them etc. Contact the Secretary in the first instance.
